There is a photo on the record of Jennie Belle Shepherd, 2WQ6-SYJ, but none of the individuals are tagged to her. It must be tagged to them all. If she is the mother in the photo, one of the children may be Frances. You may want to send a message to Debra Black 2, by clicking on the photo to bring it up in the viewer, and look on the right of the picture, click her name in blue to ask her to identify the people in the photo, if she can. Another idea may be to see if you can find some school records for Frances Hale in Kentucky.

When posting a concern in the Community, if your concern is about information regarding an ancestor who is in Family Tree, it is best to provide the name and the unique ID number for that person. From the information that was posted by @Sanra, you must be speaking about Frances Hale L5GQ-MX4. We can see that a record was created for him in September of 2016 by another contributor who found him listed as a child of Jennie Belle Shepherd 2WQ6-SYJ and Jesse James Hale 2WQ6-SY1 in two census records.

The only two sources for Francis are these census records that don't even include his middle name. If you have additional information you can add to his details page, please feel free to go to the L5GQ-MX4 record to add information. Click on his name on your pedigree, then on the Summary Card that populates, click Person to open his details.

On the right side of the details page there is a Search Records box with a list of places where you might find records to attach to his page. Click FamilySearch to locate records at our site that might provide additional information. If you have subscriptions at the other sites that are mentioned in the box, you can leave FamilySearch by clicking on the name of one of the partner sites. Signing into your account at the partner site will allow you to see records for this ancestor that they may have.
