why is message sending failing and content disappearing?
is anyone else having this problem? I write to another FS user who is in my extended family but when i press send the message disappears.
This is becoming frustrating so any advise other than using 3rd party apps would be appreciated.

We are sorry you are having issues sending messages.
A question or two to clarify the situation: are you using a mobile device? If you are in the Family Tree mobile app and you've chosen the name of a recent contact and tap done -- you then type your message and tap Send?
From the website, there are two ways to send a message from the message page after you've typed your message: Shift+Enter or press the arrow icon in the lower right corner.

I am using a 2019 imac running the latest os-x and chrome browser.
To be clear, this isn't a consistent problem, some of the messages are sending, it does seem to be failing when I write longer messages which is frustrating if i cant recover the draft in order to resend. I press send and then the screen resets to a blank message space and no update to the conversation above the text box.
