regarding an indexing issue
I am currently reviewing a Baptism register for the year 1801 for Middlesex UK.
The register is set out as if written in an exercise book with the date of baptism in the left column, the name details in the centre , and birth month and day in the right column.
On three of four listed entries, a second year 1800 appears above the name of the person in the centre column with the day and month in the birth date column.
The fourth entry adds yet a third year to the equation by including a birth year of 1798 in the birth date column as well as the 1800 above the name.
The original indexer used 1801 as the date of both baptism and birth except for the last example above.
As the dates of the baptism register run in date order, I am wondering if the additional date of 1800 in three of the four examples was the birth date, or should the date of the register 1801 be used for both baptism and birth. I'm unable to find any reference about this situation in the notes.
Your assistance with this issue would be appreciated.

Hi Bill,
Please will you send us the batch number of the Middlesex register that you are working on? It is difficult to judge, without seeing it.
The batch number is in the square brackets at the end of the Title - centre at the top of the page.
Thank you. Hope to help you soon.

Hi Paula, Regret to say I have completed the batch and returned it now hoping I have made the right choice. However, I took the precaution of taking a screen shot of the problem for future reference and attach it for your interest and advice. Hope I have not broken any rules doing that. Bearing in mind the register was for the year 1801, you will see what my question was about.
Regards, Bill B.
