Why and when did Frederick Niblett , born 1816 in Dorking, Surrey, emigrate to Australia?

He was my 2nd cousin 3 times removed. He married Zipporah Bird in Melbourne in 1849 .

His Mother, Jane,  died  in 1824 when he was 8.

Question: Is this him, in relation to his Christening, in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?

Frederick NIBLETT ( Christened, 01 SEP 1816, Dorking,Surrey,England - Deceased ) ... [ M6QR-MTG ]

Father: James George NIBLETT ... [ M6QR-MYH ]

Mother: Jane ... [ M6QR-MYV ]

Or, there another record for him in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'?

This does seem to be a match with "my" Frederick Niblett, so any further data relating to my original query will be much appreciated.

Glad you got back.

Yesterday, when I was 'playing around' ...

I could NOT find a "Marriage" for, a Frederick NIBLETT; and, a Zipporah BIRD (or variants thereof), in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in 1849 (or, for that matter any time).

I checked the "Registry of, Birth, Deaths and Marriages" for the State of Victoria, Australia.

The closest I got was, a Frederick Charles NIBLETT, marrying, a Mary Ann WHITE, in 1876.

There was nothing whatsoever for a Zipporah BIRD.

I will keep 'looking' for that "Arrival", nothing yet.
