Howdy Folks…
I really need help on my family tree…. I am looking for the parents of my Grandmother: Ida V./Victoria (Buchanan ) Wehunt… Born 1902 +/-(Georgia USA? )…. Died: 1930/Cherokee Co. GA. USA(Buried: Forsyth Co. GA. USA)… Married ( about 1917 ? ) to Joseph Jefferson Wehunt/Born: Cherokee Co. GA. USA… Three Children: Roy Dean(my Father), Born St. Christmas FL. USA, Elbert Wehunt and Herman Wehunt. My problem is that I am 74 and don’t know much about computers and I have hand tremors so harder to type. I could not find a birth certificate or marriage certificate which might list Grandma’s parents, and l just don’t really do well with the search tools. Any help greatly appreciated. Blessings.

Now continuing the search and helping this guest. FamilySearch shows Jackson Buchanan, ID# G3XK-RMZ and Bell Collett, ID# M7N5-1Y2, as the parents of Ida Victoria Buchanan. Also shown are two siblings, a male child, ID# G37G-KY1 and Charlie Eugene Buchanan, ID# MWVD-FCD. FamilySearch shows the parents were married 4 March 1900 in Forsyth, Georgia, United States. The marriage certificate is shown in the sources. The family line ends with Jackson and Bell Buchanan. Further research will be needed to provide this information.
The Wehunt family line does continue back in time several generations.
