I (USA) have a several generation tree that I am attempting to share with a new found 5th cousin (Switzerland). I have sent him the key input values for searching 'Family Tree' but he can not make it work. In my attempt to do this I have used different ancestor names but come up with different results. Is there something I must do to allow this individual access to my data? Today I sent him the URL resulting from my search, however, when I use that URL on a different computer that my own I get different results. Any ideas ? I can not find instruction for any of this on line.

Every person in FamilySearch Family Tree has a unique person identifier associated with it. You can see the seven-character PID next to each name. All of these unique PIDs are searchable by doing a find by ID:
If you send the starting person's ID, your relative should be easily able to find them. The only exception is that living people are not searchable.0
