The FM group said that they are not responsible for the family history computers. Who do I need to contact to get this issue resolved?

A lot depends on weather or not the computer is still under warranty, or is it a Win 7?

here is the link for discarding old computers ,

also one for order a replacement computer.

or if the computer is still under warranty

    genbug08 raises great points.

Also, did you check all cabling to be sure the power cords are seeded firmly? 95% of all problems are connectivity issues of some kind.

If none of that helps, ask your stake technology specialist to troubleshoot the computer.
