Hello @Karen Moorhouse
We found your ancestors in Family Tree:
Eugene N Buzzell ( Leea )
16 November 1857 – Deceased • LRSZ-LKK
Ada Muzetta Mifflin
19 August 1873 – 19 October 1895 • KWVT-3JV
Katherine Bridget Harrigan
1 January 1877 – 26 November 1944 • LKMB-3JB
The first thing we would suggest is that you remove the invalid characters from Eugene's name. If his birth name was Buzzell, then that name should be in the Vitals section: Eugene N Buzzell. By 1893 he was known as Eugene Leea. This name can be entered in Other Information as an "Also Known As" name. Our record hinting algorithms will search both those names for possible sources. There are many sources attached to his record, which is great. But, yes, what happened to him after 1899??
Could he have gone off to Alaska? There is an entry for E Lea in the 1900 U.S. Census:
The territory from & including Port Clarence to Cape Darby, Northern District, Alaska Territory, United States
There are nine men listed as passengers on the Steamer Fulton of San Francisco.
This may be a brick wall that is difficult to get around. You might try signing up for a virtual genealogy consultation:
Good luck!
