Making a Mass Change to database of "New Zealand, Electoral Rolls, 1865-1957"
Somehow, 89,856 records on the above database (perhaps that's every record on the database) has "Event Place Minmindie, Victoria, Australia" on the record. This just can't be correct. It's obviously impractical to Edit each record individually, so some sort of mass edit will be required. Before such edit is undertaken, it would be prudent to refer the matter to a representative of FamilySearch who is familiar with NZ Electoral Rolls to consider the matter. Could someone in this Community please put the necessary steps in train to achieve this edit? Thank you

@johnbonn Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will let the appropriate team know of this problem. We are aware of several databases that have similar problems and are appreciative that you have brought this to our attention. Please know that we will be working on this but that it may take some time to resolve.

Please check-out https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/90586/why-does-familysearch-persist-in-refusing-to-correct-metadata-errors#latest for the likelihood of this matter being addressed, at least in the near future.

Also, please see the comments, particularly those of @MerleenGholdston, at https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/371316#Comment_371316.
I would not wish to discourage the reporting of any types of metadata issues that FamilySearch is currently addressing, through a dedicated team / programme.
