Use of Ditto marks

I am indexing a Roanoke Virginia marriage record with the date 1921 written in bold on the header and also on the first entry at the top of the page. Each succeeding entry has ditto marks below the 1921. However, the month/day dates begin in June and run through to the end of the year then, without interruption it goes on to January through December entries with the same ditto marks. The last few entries begin again in January with the same ditto marks. So my question is do I follow the ditto marks and use the 1921 date for every entry on the page or do I move onto 1922 and 1923 when the next entries begin in January?

Thank you.

To give you an accurate answer to your question, can you please share with us the batch number. Thank you.

You could examine the +1 image reference for the date at the top, that will provide the answer as to whether the dates on this image are advancing year by year each time January comes up.
