Why don't search results match tree IDs for same people?
LCVP-8PP Thomas Richardson
Yesterday, I found this guy on your search engine with a different ID.
"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBJ7-M2G : 21 March 2020), Thomas Richardson, 1581.
I am 200% certain that these two IDs represent the same person, but it seems you are removing the old IDs because of the following:
I also found his son with this ID:
"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ND97-PVK : 21 March 2020), Thomas Richardson, 1600.
Today I tried to add him to your tree, and you tell me that ID doesn't exist.
Why is this happening and how can I avoid it?
I see that dates are also being changed

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
FYI
'Yes', the individual/person Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ) does exist in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'
Who was Christened, 18 October 1581, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire, England.
With Parents, Father, (Rev) William RICHARDSON ( LY6S-K2G ); &, Mother, Amye SHEERAN ( LY6S-XPZ )
With the "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBJ7-M2G
And ...
In 'Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' there does not appear to be such a Thomas RICHARDSON who was Christened, 20 March 1600, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire, England, with the Father, Thomas RICHARDSON; as, Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ).
And ...
The "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ND97-PVK in NOT attached to any individual/person.
So ...
That Said ...
You could actually attach that "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ND97-PVK to Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ); AS, the Father; and, then, "Create" a NEW individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' for Thomas RICHARDSON who was Christened, 20 March 1600, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire, England, with Father, Thomas RICHARDSON; as, Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ).
If you believe that, that "Parent-Child" Relationship, is correct.
Just my thoughts.

Do I understand correctly? I believe you are saying that one ID applies to the Christening record but not to the individual. What confused me is that the event IDs have the same format as the person IDs. Thank you for clearing that up.

An individual/person, can finish up being, the Child on one Record; and, the Father on another Record.
For Example ...
In your case ...
That individual/person of Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ), is the Child on the "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBJ7-M2G
Whereas,
That same individual/person of Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ), could be the Father on the "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ND97-PVK
Thus, the same individual/person of Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ); but, in DIFFERENT Generations.
Question: Does that make sense?
And, in your case; as, the Thomas RICHARDSON who was Christened, 20 March 1600, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire, England on the "Source" of Christening: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:ND97-PVK appears to be (or, maybe) the Son of Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ); but, does not yet appear to exist in n "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'; so, you simply "Create" him in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch', with Thomas RICHARDSON ( LCVP-8PP ); as, his Father.
Provided, of course, that you believe that, that "Parent-Child" Relationship, is correct.
Just my thoughts.
