Should entry 28 contain 2 book #'s and 2 page #'s? I would have put these on separate entries, but
the indexer combined them. grantor: The Wanakah Water co grantee: Esther Roberts book:1407 & 1386. Should I separate these? Other than putting "Aff of Title" for Grantee on several entries, everything looks correct. Is this a short cut I don't know about?

Hi Lisa. Those should be separate entries as you suspect and not combined as the Indexer has done.

I see that you are reviewing these records. Thank you for your service. John Empoliti is correct in his answer. These entries are not to be combined. In the Project Instructions>What to Remember>Bulletpoint 14 we read the following:
"Sometimes multiple transactions by the same grantor were recorded on a document, each with a different event date. Index each transaction as a separate entry in the data entry area in the order that the transactions appear on the document. Each entry would include the name of the grantor."
These instructions are very helpful. Please add the necessary entries you need to make the indexed project correct. You can add an entry by doing the following:
To add entries in the data entry area, do the following:
- On the indexing toolbar, click the icon for Add Entries.
- In the Add Multiple Entries pop-up window, type the number of entries you want to add, and indicate where you want to add them.
- Click Add.
I hope this is helpful to you as you review these important documents. Thank you for your service. Best!

That entry was slightly different than the posted instruction. It is two entries with the same grantor and grantee on the SAME date since the field help says not to use the date of the instrument. But I would guess that because the volume and page numbers are different, it works to create separate entries, even though the project instructions don't address this.

Good point, Melissa. They are different transactions executed on different dates that happen to be recorded on the same date. Not quite the target of that instruction. But just by being different transactions. I think that they each earn their own Entry.
