If you are trying to remove a child from wrong parents. You remove the -parents from the child__
If you need to remove a spouse, if there are children linked to the relationship, they will need to be removed from wrong parent 1st, -leaving them with the correct parent-- , see above instructions, then you can delete the relationship with wrong spouse

These are directions for deleting a person which you may have tried already. Click Delete Person. If the link says Delete Person Unavailable, it means that multiple contributors have made changes to the record. Consider these alternatives:
If the person never existed, let us know -Delete relationships, Merge duplicate records, Edit incorrect data.
Another possibility is to go to latest changes for that person and find where they are attached to your ancestors. You may be able to undo that attachment. Make sure that you give good reasons so they will not be added again. If it happens again, you may want to send a message to that contributor to discuss the issue. You both want the same thing, a connection to your ancestors.

Hello @TroyElliott3,
One additional thought. Check the sources for the detached and the remaining individuals. Then detach any that do not belong so there less chance of a linking error in the future.
Best Wishes!
