Hi Colin, I do have several ideas for DNA specific content. I presented last year in the DNA Basics Learning Center, and would like to participate again this year. Do you have a link for speaker/presentation proposals?
Thanks,
Alison Wilde

You can use the following Email for questions about speaker/presentation proposals - info@rootstech.org.
Webpage for Content suggestions is https://www.familysearch.org/rootstech/next/call-for-content/
Hope this helps.

Hi Colin, submitted a proposal 17th September and did sparks hire interview 30th October. Do you know when we might hear back as I've received no email confirmations other than from sparks hire.
Kind regards

more ways to share and invite others to be involved in Genealogical Service Projects
and/or volunteer opportunities (anywhere) related to genealogy

Have FS calling specific training classes to reference church handbook, learning center videos, help center KAs, and Community.

Use RootsTech to showcase a new FamilyTree capability that builds on the Relationship function shown at the last RootsTech. The new capability would show the relationship between any 2 people in the database.
Thanks for asking.

My suggestion is that content be separated by that which is of interest to beginners and that which is of interest to the rest of us. Last year I wandered through way too many videos that were too basic, and eventually I gave up on finding anything of interest to a more advanced researcher--me. That didn't happen when I looked at content in past years. Thus the entire RootsTech experience was useless for me last year. I hope that doesn't happen again.

Go to: https://www.familysearch.org/rootstech/rtc2021/series On the left side of the page edge is a feedback button. Click on that button and submit your feedback directly to the RootsTech team. You can also email: info@rootstech.org to share your feedback.

Amy Archibald, I know that leaving a comment here will not make Rootstech 2022 a better event than last year's. But that feedback link doesn't really allow one to leave feedback. It's not like they'd change Rootstech just because I found it useless. I just thought I'd express an opinion because they asked even though this is an area asking for suggestions for content. My suggestion for content is to provide better content, segregated by experience level so it won't be so useless. Thanks.

yeh - why isnt there a Message Board or Community Group or similar item anywhere in relation to RootsTech2022?

Because when RootsTech starts there will be hundreds of chat groups available on the RootsTech website.
Any feedback before then can me emailed directly to RootsTech at info@rootstech.org

yes - just totally surprised no one planned ahead with an overall Rootsech message board . . .
yes there are alternatives . . . but this really looks bad that FS / RootsTech doesn't have an overall message board / group well ahead of schedule.
Just gives the impression FS dropped the ball (even though that may or may not be the case)
