Is there a special place to put in a User ID ? I have names and ID (deceased people).

I put name and ID in search with no result although I can find with name only - trying to gather further info.

    Hi Carol.

The Article above explains how to use IDs to find people in Family Tree. If you know the ID of someone you wish to add, then you click on the FIND option. You are able to use either the Find by ID or Find by Name - but not both together.

You cannot use the Find to bring up Living people - unless you added them in the first place, so if that is what you are doing and not having any success, you will need to ADD those. They will then have a different ID to one you may have been given.

The Article contains more information that hopefully you will find useful :)
