Single line with different year date

This batch has the year as 1916 at the top, with many entries for December with a singe January 1917 in the middle. The date for the second half (after the January 1917) should be which year? There are no ditto marks or anything.

    I would mark the one record as jan 8 1917 and the rest in Dec of 1916.
