Please Add a way to leave an optional Note

Hello Staff and others,

As an indexer and reviewer I run into different things that need a short explanation and this can be accomplished by adding an optional note at end of each batch.

Yes, this is what I am asking the developers of the indexing and reviewing program to include with every batch. This will make things a bit easier when reviewing or indexing so that the next person who works on the batch will know and understand what to look for or to look out for.

I heartily agree. I also mentioned this once before, but Mr. Henderson's request is so well done. Having a note would avoid a reviewer incorrectly changing information only to realize further on that was a mistake and having to go back and actually correct their "corrections".

The number of characters in a comment can be limited and/or provide a drop down menu with suggested cautions.

On the large City Directory batches I have found some that have been started and not finished but have been submitted instead of returning the the proper way. Is there some way to remind an indexer the proper way to return a batch that is not complete. It is pretty discouraging to start reviewing a batch only to find that the batch is only partially finished. I feel obligated to fix the mess and end up adding several 100 more Entries.
