How To Find My Ancestry Connection to the Mayflower
Several months ago when I signed in to Family Search there was a notice on my home page that my ancestor was a Mayflower descendant, but that message disappeared and I can no longer find which ancestor it was and my link. How can I retrieve this information? I believe it was through my grandfather Herman Ortkiese and his wife wife Mabel Minnie Johnson (both from Kentucky).

A couple of years ago, I received an email from Ancestry.com that said that I am related to George Soule, who came to America on the Mayflower. I saved the email, but the link no longer works. As I recall, the link indicated that my DNA matched to Mr. Soule through my mother's grandfather by the name of Etheridge. My own family tree research doesn't go back that far and I cannot seem to figure out what branch of the Etheridges link to Mr. Soule. My mom is turning 90 next month and I would like to show her how her ancestors came over on the Mayflower. Can anyone please help?

Some years ago, I received emails from Familyseach.org and Ancestry.com; and both were notifications that I am direct descendant of Mayflower Passengers Contance Hopkins and Stephen Hopkins.
I recently forwarded copy of my family tree to The Mayflower Society. I was rejected, stating "We have no records of marriage between James Rayborn and Elizabeth Cole." (Cole, Cobb, Snow, Hopkins).
I am asking for any available documentation. Thank you, Donna Westmoreland Dotson
