Hello!

I recently found out that my great-great-grandfather had written an 18-page life story. The issue is, the pages were dropped by my aunt and she mixed up the order of the documents. I need some help transcribing them into text and re-ordering the pages. Would anyone be able to help me or point me in the direction to someone who could help me?

Here is the link to the document if anyone wants to help :D

Life History of Sam

Thanks!

    Hello @Motes, Wyatt Dallyn

You're right! This life story has been jumbled up. If I were you I would print out the whole document. Lay all the pages out on the table and then try re-arranging. You obviously know which one is page 1. Two other pages describe when Sam is 15 and 18, so you can ascertain their order. One page talks about his marriage, which date you probably know. A couple of pages are dated --appears Sam came back to his story -- but it doesn't look like he made a proper finish.

I would also suggest you enlist the aid of other relatives who are familiar with this ancestor. The more sets of eyes on this document, the better.

Good luck! In spite of how messy the document, it's a great glimpse into the life of your great-great grandfather.
