How to change deceased individuals to living

The following individuals were created by other individuals and entered as deceased but are actually living:

LTNR-F5M

GQSBB-GK8

GQS1-6BM

GQS1-FJ3

GQSB-VLJ

LTTS-QPJ

I created a living record and tried to merge with the deceased record but that is not allowed. Have also requested change to living. The process is tedious. These are the records I have just discovered. What happens if the individual that created the record stops using FamilySearch, can someone request to be placed in charge of these records?

Have you followed these steps as outlined below? If you did, when did you submit the request to change the status of the individual?

If you are not the only contributor:

    1. Navigate to the person page of the individual who is living.
    2. Click Details.
    3. In the Vitals section, next to the listed death date, select Edit.
    4. In the box that appears, click the circle labeled Living.
    5. Enter how you know the person is still alive.
    6. Click Save.
    7. Enter an explanation for the system administrator to review your request. Please provide this information:
      • Your relationship to the individual needing attention.
      • An how you know the person is alive.
      • If possible, the living person's current physical address.
    8. Click Submit.

A request now goes to FamilySearch Support. A system administrator reviews your request and takes appropriate actions.
