"Automating" Data Input Fields in Batch Indexing

I have indexed and reviewed a large number of batches in the Liberia 2008 Census project and noted several instances where the process could be streamlined/speeded up with the added benefit of reducing potential input errors.

The first three input fields are the same for the entire batch. Can each new Entry be automatically filled in with the data input from Entry 1? In addition when the batch is reviewed, if one of these fields on Entry 1 needs to be corrected, the correction will be replicated in all the other entries in the batch.

If the relationship field is "1 Head" the New House Identifier response is "Yes". If the family relationship is anything other that "Head" the New House Identifier is "No". Could this be programmed to automatically fill in the proper Yes/No response?

I welcome your comments and suggestions. 😃
