I'm indexing death records in Middlesex, and there is no year date. I'm clearly on page two. Is there a way to see page one and get a date? I see no batch # other than MSPD-9PK, which I think is general. Frances Jeppson

You can open the reference images and see if one of the preceding images has a year. To open the reference images, click on the bottom icon in the vertical toolbar on your image window. The screen splits and you can see the previous 5 and subsequent 5 images.

    The project instructions say:

    • In register-type documents, the event year was generally written just once for multiple records. This date applies to all subsequent records until a new date was indicated.

So, I think you would be allowed to use a date from a previous image.
