Print Descendancy Chart
The Descendancy Chart does not have an option to print. Yet the fan chart does under "Options." Please add the Print option to the descendancy chart.

In old time , I can print a list of the descendants of any one ancestor. Now, where can I print that information?

Hello @JimBell41. I assume this concerns the Descendancy view in View Tree. I print it to a PDF file. The PDF can then be printed. Would that work for you?

Yes, your assumption is correct. I would very much like to print it to a PDF file that I can then print. My question is HOW do I save the view as a PDF file. Would you be kind enough to explain in detail including telling me what type of browser you are using e.g. FireFox, Chrome, Safari?

Web browsers all work pretty much the same. Mouse right-click then Print Page or in the browser main menu select File: Print or File: Export as PDF.

How do I print a descendant report? I can't find how to print anything.

From the person Details page/tab of the interested person (either of the couple for whom you wish to print a descendancy report) - at bottom of the right-hand column - Tools> Print option shows the types of data that can be printed (pedigree, family group record...). Descendancy report is not an option. You could attempt to print the Descendancy tree view but may not be able to view all the descendants as you wish. If you use a FamilySearch 3rd party tree management application - that may have the type of report you are after. You can find these in the Solution Gallery:

How do I print my Descendency Chart?

@William4321 When you are viewing your dependency chart tap or click the “share” icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser’s screen (looks like a square box with an arrow pointing up), then scroll down the list that opens up to the “Print” command, tap or click “Print” which should then take you to your printer’s dialog box. From there you should be able to preview and print your dependency chart. This works for me on my iPad.

I apologize: I'm going to start by being a pedant. @AlexS41, you're confusing the iPad's functions for the website's. Computers offer no box-with-arrow icon anywhere. (Also, descendancy, not dependency. Rather different. 🙃)
But Alex's broader point stands: a descendancy chart is rather well-suited to the "print" function built into every browser, so FS really doesn't need to provide a separate one. Here's the above, expanded, in Firefox:
And the same thing in Edge:
(There's probably a setting somewhere that'd get the arrows and squares and circles back, but I only use Edge for investigation of questions here in Community, so I'm not going to bother.)
