Ancestry and FamilySearch
I have had great success finding sources on Ancestry for an ancestor. I haven't had the same luck with FamilySearch and would love to transfer that information from Ancestry to FamilySearch. I know how to transfer individual names but not information like censuses, school information, etc. Anyone have any helps?

There is a way to add outside sources, such as those from Ancestry, to a record in FamilySearch. It's a little more complicated and time consuming that just transferring them but it does work.
Below is the link to the Help Center article that provides instructions on how to do this.

Latter Day Saints have access to tools that allow them to transfer data between their Ancestry and FSFT trees.
Another forum member who is a Latter Day Saint should be able to help you with this if you are LDS.

I am LDS and I am a newly called Stake Temple and Family History Consultant with a lot to learn. Including this information. I've asked everyone I know in my ward and no one knows how.
