Is there anyway to keep a batch past the expiration date?

I would like to keep working this batch but cannot complete it by the due date. Can I get it extended?

    We're sorry, but it's not possible to extend the due date. Your work will be saved, if you can't complete it. The next indexer will pick up where you left off. It is due on midnight GMT, not your local time.
