Using Record Seek

As a consultant, I've used Record Seek in the past to attach sources from websites other than FamilySearch and encouraged others to do the same. A while ago I noticed it now gives the following message:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from recordseek.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn moreNET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID

To get Chrome’s highest level of security, turn on enhanced protection

Is it safe to use if you turn on the enhanced protection mentioned? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

RecordSeek is a third-party add-on. FamilySearch does not support and cannot assist.

That message means that the security certificate has expired. Again. It happens every couple of months. You need to contact the creator, Dovy, and hope that he will eventually fix the issue. It usually takes several weeks.

When RecordSeek works, it is useful, but in recent months (to years), it has worked less and less.
