Two deceased persons showing in my "Private Space"

I spent quite a bit of time today trying to find death dates for people in my Private Spaces. As I would mark them "deceased" and add a death date and reason, they all "went out" of my "Private Space" with two exceptions--these still show as being in my "Private Space".

#1--Mirza Ahmad Sohrab (1889-1958) PID GWSH-VCY

#2--Shames Maroon (1891-2004) PID L15Y-MQH

I don't understand why they still show in my Private Space.

Thank you,

Paul Jacobs Farnsworth

I had clicked "yes" on the "Did this answer your question?", but I couldn't tell if it was transmitted or not. I believe this additional question tells me it was not transmitted.

It was explained to me that the two people were from "restricted countries" and that is why they did not go off of my "private space people". I was told that they would eventually be changed to "read only" restricted persons and would go off of my "private space people" at that time.

    Thank you for checking,

This has happened to me a few times due to database glitches. There was nothing sensitive or controversial about the PIDs. Moving them into the public tree space required help from technical support.

This explains a reason as to why it may have happened. I received a message from someone who indicated they could work on this and address the issue.

    Thank you.

    Paul

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    FYI

'Yes', most likely a "Confidential" individual/person, they can be either, "Living"; and/or, "Deceased".

It is often a 'Place', that is associated with them, that is one of the "Locations" in the World, where "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch", cannot be utilized.

Like, 'dontiknowyou', I have had simply raised the matter, with 'FamilySearch' "Support", that the individual/person should NOT be marked, with the 'Status' of, a "Confidential" individual/person; and, given my "Reason(s)' for such.

On each and every occasion, the 'Status' of, a "Confidential" individual/person was 'lifted'.

[ But, that said, there may be, the ODD occasion; where, such is 'required and 'justified' ... few & far between ]

You are now in good hands, with "Moderators" [ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel)] taking on the matter

    Good Luck.

    Brett
