Events incorrect in indexed film
In a section of FHL microfilm 1334934, marriage and death records were indexed as a christening record. This seems to be from image 434/683 to 522/683. The rest of the film seems to be indexed as the correct event.
As an example, these are marriage records indexed as christening records. The "parents" are actually the bride and groom. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-674W-3VX?i=455&cc=1491272&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJ3ZC-GZN
These are death records also indexed as christening records. The "child" was indexed with "Died" in their name, and in the case of my 5th great-grandmother Balzer, her husband is listed as her father. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-674W-Q8Z?i=439&cc=1491272&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AJ3ZC-JG7
The names themselves are indexed as correctly as they usually are from German gothic script - thanks to those awesome indexers!
This has created “children” with parents that don’t exist (and who are having temple work done).
I know I can (and have) made notes of the error when I attach and used the “edit” feature to correct names, but I can’t change the event. Isn’t there a way this film can be changed or indexed again with the correct events?
