Remove Sophos
Have a windows 7 computer to read films held in our library or for patrons to use to read their films. It is not on line. What steps should we take to delete Sophos so the scan program can run.?

Greetings. This Win & computer is connected to a Canon 300 reader/printer?

Thank you for responding
It is connected to a film reader only. The software is blocked by Sophos firewall. If I had the password to sophos, I could allow the program. Or I could delete Sophos as the computer is not on line. Its only function is to read files from the ScanPro film/fiche reader.
Some patrons have their own films from other entities and have relied on us to be able to read them.

As we no longer support WIN 7, you can certainly do that. You might want to post a little notice on the computer that it is not online, just in case a guest tries to log in when you aren't looking. Remember that a WIN 7 computer will not communicate with the FHC printer either. The ethernet cable will need to be removed from the WIN 7 computer also.
Then, just do an uninstall of Sophos: Setting->Uninstall/install apps (programs). Let us know if there are any more issues with this.
