I have indexed a batch with over a 1000 names as shown above. The field highlighted in yellow is too small and does not show the correct record count.

It’s probably showing the first 3 digits or the last three digits of the actual Entry number. I’m guessing the first three. Try typing 1255 in that highlighted box and hit Enter. That should take you to the last Entry (#1255), and show you what part of the actual Entry # it is displaying. Or you can go to Entry #,999 by typing that in and hitting Enter. Then use the right-arrow to get to Entry 1000 and see what is displayed (100. - first 3 digits, or 000 - last 3 digits).. Maybe you can still navigate to where you want to go using the arrows for Entries past 999 if you’re unable to type a 4-digit number in that little space.

Nonetheless, if it’s not preventing you from finishing your work, I would just ignore it and carry on. Maybe one of the mods can report the issue to the engineers for an upgrade/ widening of that slot so that it can handle 4 digits.
