RE: US-City and Business Directories, 1749-1990[Part C][M34C-RVL]
In the case of the template being preset at 300 entries, and there are only 50 or 60 records in the batch, is there a faster way to mark the remaining entries as "blank" so they can be deleted, Currently I am clicking on the "next record" arrow, then the "mark the entry blank" icon for each record.

Just use the trashcan icon (middle of toolbar) with the option “all blank entries”, click Delete, and all the unneeded blank entries will be gone.

If you have marked the extra entries "Blank", you may need to go back to those entries and empty them before using the trashcan. Often the system will not delete these entries as they are not technically "Blank".
The easiest way to do this is to go to the first completely blank entry, put your cursor in the first field, then hit your Del button to empty the field. Once the field is empty, click on the 6th icon from the right in your toolbar; this will copy the empty field forward to all the remaining fields. Do this with each field and then you should be able to submit the batch properly.
Thank you for being willing to index these fun batches.

Actually, the trashcan "all blank entries" option deletes empty Entries and those that have Ctrl+B in some or all of the Fields, so there is no need to worry if you've put Ctrl+B in the Fields in some of the Entries. Both types of Entries are considered "blank" fby the trashcan.
