Good morning, as you have received notification that the image has been rejected you need to reply to the email received. There should be a link in the email for you to click on and write back. By doing it this way your reply will go directly to the department who look at rejected images.
As you can imagine we get thousands of images every day its only those that are rejected by the sytem and the email replied to that are looked at by a "real" person. So please click on the link in the email and write back. We are sorry that this has caused you distress. The following knowledge article will also help you.
Hope this helps

The image was copied from Canada’s Genweb Project which allows use if the copyright is respected and shown in the image. I copied the image of a cemetery monument to my Memories page. I don’t see where I have violated anyone’s guidelines.

I copied an image of a cemetery monument showing the photographer’s copyright from Canada’s Genweb Project. I read both theirs and FamilySearch’s instructions and don’t see where I have erred.

Thank you for your question about the restricted image. The initial restriction is completed by the computer. If you would like it checked by a person, and possibly lifted, you need to reply to the email, as instructed Caroline A Holdsworth. We are enclosing the article below:
https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/why-does-it-say-that-my-photo-is-restricted
We wish you success in getting the photo added to your gallery.

you mean it had a copyright watermark on the image??
the whole point of copyright is so people dont pull it from one site and post on another site - or elsewhere.
(Though it is very common for people to put a copyright watermark on an image when actually no copyright exists - - known as copy fraud)
can you point us at the URL of the original photo?

you should contact the owners of the image to get their permission if you want to post on FamilySearch.
