I'm indexing city directories. It would be a great feature to be able to have a function that removes duplicates before submitting.

The program does remove exact duplicates when you submit the batch. Edit: I was just reminded by a a friend that the program removes exact duplicates when they are adjacent. But, if there is a duplicated name that is separated by unique names, then it does not remove that duplicate.

I found duplicate records for one person. How can this be cleaned up?

If you found duplicate records in one batch while indexing then just go to step 1: Images and mark the second image of the duplicates as Duplicate image.

If this is a duplicate in your family tree then you would need to ask this question in Q&A Family Tree.
