In the Original Document: The Month and Year are at the top of the page. The day is in column 3.

Yes. And the date is not being indexed. At least, not in the sources I looked at.

You are not creating a source citation for the index. Use the informatiuon from the original document to create the source citation. Explain the situation in the "Describe the Record (Notes)" in the source citation edit form.
If you still want the Index Record corrected make a request via the Community.

@dontiknowyou It is unfortunate that the marriage date was not included in the Adams County, Indiana marriage record for George E Hemhoff, whose record you cite. Although we see a field for the Event Date, it appears to have been filled out only a handful of times. There is no option to Edit the Index; and, it is highly unlikely that the the indexing project for this collection would be reopened to add the Event Dates.
@Douglas McPhaden reminds us that we are not generally creating a source citation for an index when the original record is available, as is the case for the marriage record for George E Hemhoff. And, as was suggested, you can add the marriage date to you Source citation in Family Tree when in the Edit mode: (1) by adding the marriage date to the Event Date field (to the left of the Title); (2) by adding it to the Title; and (3) by adding that information to the Describe the Record (Notes) field.

The omission of dates makes record searches more difficult, but I can live with it. Omissions are preferable to errors.
I don't expect the records to be indexed again. However, if this set was indexed by machine, then it could be a useful training set for the next generation of indexing machine.
It might be helpful to capture these issues on the research wiki. But the person to do that is not me; I have only a slight interest in one record in the set.
