Standard Place Finder - Interface for suggesting Additions does not work well for many situations
It would be nice if there were a more general option for pointing out problems in the Place database. Every time I've hit something that really should be added or fixed, it never made it through the automated interface.
I'll give a recent "for example."
Rock Cemetery is just north of Duke, Jackson County, Oklahoma. It is variously considered to be in Duke, or in Duke Township. Up until the creation of the state of Oklahoma from the territory of Oklahoma in 1907, this was located in Greer County. At that time Jackson County was created and it incorporated the cemetery, the town of Duke, and the township of Duke.
The standard place finder includes the Dukes and the cemetery as located in both Greer and Jackson County, but while Jackson should not read "Oklahoma Territory" it does. That is the only choice. So you are forced to finagle a way to enter the full place, while getting the standardized place to read Greer, Oklahoma, United States. That is as close as you can come to locating this cemetery, or the town of Duke.
There is no way to communicate this sort of information via the standard interface.
Most of the time when I find a problem in Place Finder, it is similar to this and does not involve adding something known to Google Maps at a specific set of coordinates.

I would hope that such will be seen and responded to if you post it in the Family Search Places Group. Getting the type of information you posted here to the right people is the whole point of that group. You find it through the Groups tab or can jump to it directly here: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/68-familysearch-places
You do have to join it to post topics.
