can you access the FamilySearch account of a deceased family member?

A friends mother died a while ago and my friend wants to access her mothers FamilySearch account to see information about living relatives, is there any way she can do this? Thank you

    Hi Susan

    Here is an article that can be found in the Help Center in Family search that explains what happens to an account one the owner is deceased.

    Please note that the account is closed when a person dies. The above article explains in detail. You will not be able to access the account.
