Do we have a resolution to the duplicates added to FS by the US1910Project?
This morning I came across ANOTHER duplicate family of FIVE people added by the US1910Project.
(Mother) William Julia Ann Gangloff 17 July 1869 – 13 September 1937 • LKPF-676
(First record MDDV-ZN2 created April 17, 2012
(Second record LKPF-676 created September 28, 2015)
(Third record GZSS-1NR created April 22, 2021 by US1910Project) <---------
So the US1910Project added the second duplicate!!!! along with duplicating her 4 children!!!
Violet Dillard 1897 – Deceased • GZSS-54Z (existing record with all ordinances done Violet Leola Dillard 21 October 1896 – 6 April 1929 • LKGG-2PV)
Lemuel Dillard 1899 – Deceased • GZSS-54L (existing record with all ordinances done Lemuel Albert Dillard 17 November 1899 – 15 December 1962 • LKPN-QQ4)
Herbert Dillard 1901 – Deceased • GZS3-94C (existing record with all but one ordinances done William Herbert Dillard September 1902 – 11 August 1934 • LKPJ-8QN)
Elvie Dillard 1903 – Deceased • GZSS-19T (existing record with all but two ordinances done Elvie Lonnie Dillard 1903 – Deceased • LKPJ-64K)
There were not enough data points between the LKPF-676 , MDDV-ZN2 and GZSS-1NR to find a match until I started adding sources, alternative names, etc. Then the other duplicates popped up. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH DATA POINTS to match to existing records. Please do not add any more people from the 1910 US census just because Family Search can't find an existing record!
I know it's possible for computer services engineers to pull ALL US1910Project entries added to Family Search. Why aren't they deleting them?

This is a project of the BYU Record Linking Lab. You can email them at: rll@byu.edu and report to them the duplicate. Ask them the questions you are asking here.

Finally, after two months of asking questions about this issue, at least a possibility of an answer!
Thank you for the referral!
