Printing Temple Cards

I'm trying to print out initiatory cards to take to the temple. When I select one ordinance on the first page and go to the second page, the ordinance on the first page is gone. If I don't have more than one ordinance on a given page, I must print one at a time.

I hope they are working on an update to the temple ordinance option. With the temple reopening, it's important to be able to print from multiple pages if needed.

To get around this problem while waiting for a fix, you can open and use the filters on the right side panel. if you click Perform Next, sort by sex and choose just initiatory, that will give you a whole page of just male or just female (depending on whether you are sorting descending or ascending) initiatory to print out:

I have had the same problem as listed above. I have tried the perform next, and it often includes people that still need other ordinances. I miss the old way of printing, and the different colors that indicated what was going on with that individual.

I had this same problem earlier this summer and had hoped it was just a glitch. But, I'm still having the problem today. I tried filtering, but again the cards I need to print are on two different pages which means two different printing. In the past (probably even late Spring) - I could select ordinances from throughout my reservations. I could even search by a last name, select who I wanted, then search for another specific individual to select them - and both would then be on my print out.

I'm also noticing what SPeterson commented above - the Perform Next is not filtering out those that need previous ordinances. So if I have it filtered to Initiatories and also Perform Next, it is showing individuals who still need baptized.

I agree. This is a huge waste of time and paper, especially since the temples are keeping the cards and we have to print again for each ordinance performed. I like to print three cards at a time, just so that I don't waste so much paper and ink. Sometimes I am printing three endowments. At other times I am trying to print the sealing cards. Sometimes different, assorted ordinances. I have used the sort feature and I can almost never get the three cards I want on the same page. I really don't like wasting so much paper and ink!

Others have pointed out this same problem for over a year. The temples closed for covid not too long after the temple reservations page was changed to where there are only 50 names displayed at once, rather than the entire list, so many people may not have run into this problem initially. But now that the temples are reopening more and more people experiencing this problem.

It doesn't seem to be something that familysearch wants to address or it would have been changed long ago.

I've found that on my printer, setting the ink preference to "draft" or "econ print" is dark enough and saves a lot on the ink usage.

I don't know if this will help anyone else. But, as to the different page issue, I usually work from the names longest reserved and closest to being completed. That helps when I sort by "date reserved"; I almost always can find at least 3 names on a page to print out at the same time for the same ordinance.

My sister sent me several family name cards to perform ordinances. When I try to "accept" them, I get this message: "Please Try Back Later - We are unable to retrieve reserved names at this time." I have tried several times over multiple days. I get the same message. I have never had this problem before.

There is a problem right now. The engineers are aware of it and working on fixing it. We apologize for the inconvenience.
