I want to access my messages.

When I go to my page I am unable to access my messages from people asking about a common ancestor. I asked my friend. She mentioned the 3 icons before the picture in the upper right hand corner. I used to have then but they seem to have disappeared. She then accessed my account on her computer and the icons appeared and she was able to access my messages. Can these 3 icons be restored to my page so I can refer to them when I need to?

Thank you,

Carol Ann Hosszu

    Hello, @carol hosszu.

It sounds like you are trying to see the "conversation" and "bell" icons which appear in the upper right corner of the FamilySearch page.

This is the knowledge article that explains how to find these notifications:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/where-do-i-find-familysearch-notifications

Notwithstanding the above instructions, you might be having difficulties seeing the notification icons if there has been some change to the way you access FamilySearch and view the page. Have you changed your computer recently, or are you using a mobile device to access FamilySearch? Have you switched browsers or somehow set the zoom feature to more than 100%? You might try adjusting the zoom.

Let us know if these suggestions help solve the problem.
