Would anyone be interested in helping me investigate family connections in the Frank/Phagan case?
Hello,
I have found some very interesting family connections in the disappearance and alleged murder of Mary Ann Phagan and the trial and lynching of Leo Frank for her Mary's alleged murder. For example, Albert Guthman, a grand juror who voted to indict Frank, was second cousin of Herbert Haas and Leonard Haas, defense attorneys of Frank. Virtually everyone involved in the case other than Frank was at least a twelfth cousin of at least one other person involved. EP Dobbs, a lyncher of Frank, was third cousin of Lemmie Quinn, a defense witness of Frank.
I think that there is more to the case than meets the eye and proving close family connections in the case will help to prove that. Could anyone here help me?
Here are some pdfs of research materials on the genealogies that I have already assembled.
