Catalog Error
https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LT5D-F4P
My name is Robert Hackman, and I would like to report an error. I will also submit information to correct the error.
The error involves the fact that Evette Hackman is the married name of my wife, Evette Marie Abraham. The error also involves the fact that Evette Hackman is shown on the current website as the wife of my father, Carl Conrad Hackman. My father's wife (and my mother) was Louise Matilda Gassmann, whose date of birth was 19 May, 1915. She died in 1993.
I hope you can make these changes. I also hope that the information I tried to enter regarding the fact that Evette Marie Abraham, is living.
Thank you, Robert Hackman

FamilySearch's communal Family Tree is open-edit: after logging in, any user can edit the profile and relationships of any deceased person. Any user can also alert FamilySearch that a person is still living, and should do so immediately upon discovering such an error.
For your wife's profile, I suggest deleting her relationship to your father first, so that whichever user ends up with the profile in his/her private space will not have that incorrect relationship attached.
I know FS has instructions for doing these things all written up somewhere, but I'm not good at finding them. Hopefully someone else will pipe up and provide some links.

It's really not a good idea to list the exact birth dates of living people in a public forum such as this community. You can edit your original post to remove those details.

Perhaps because I’m on my iPhone I don’t have any obvious links for making the changes I described in my original message. Will logon with my laptop at some point to see whether there are links for editing.
