I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Question: What "Country" are these "Documents" from?
I cannot make out anything with that handwriting.
IF, it is "German"; THEN, there a couple of 'Group(s)' in the "Groups" Section, that could help/assist translate.
IF, not "German"; THEN, what "Language".
Would then know why particular 'Group' (or, "Groups') to direct you.
Please advise.

Brother Barry,
In order for us to compare the two records, would you please reply and send us the PID numbers of both
Asal, Johann Jacob and Asal Rotzler Johann Jacob.
The Identification numbers are listed below the names in Family Tree.
Thank you for posting the question.
Thank you for using this wonderful website and we hope we can be of assistance to you.

I still can't quite read the 1830 record, but I'm thinking it's a legitimization or paternal acknowledgment or some such. In other words, yes, they're the same Johann Jacob.
I'm having a little bit more luck on the 1827 record, probably because it follows a better-known pattern:
Born on the twenty-sixth of October at ?? (time) and baptised on the fourth of November at twelve midday: Johann Jacob. Mother: Anna Maria Rolzlerin, legitimate unmarried daughter of Johann Georg Rolzler, burgher in ?? in S???. Godparents: 1. Adam Asal, unmarried burgher, son of M??. 2. Johann Georg Rolzler, unmarried ?? from ??. 3. Anna ?? Asal, unmarried burgher's daughter of ??, and 4. Katherina Rotzlerin, unmarried daughter of M?.
(All of the Rs may actually be Ps, but my paternal line is Polster, so I have Ps on the brain. 🤪)
(The mod's response above doesn't make sense. You're asking about apples and s/he wants you to describe the oranges.)
