correct information
received a message from family search about a past family member KWJD-KKV about to have birthday. in checking my family tree I do not have any Gillis's in it at all. Found one old tree of mine that some one had monkey around with and after their playing with my tree this John Gillis showed up. once again I do not have any gillis in my tree either on family search or ancestry which I use as a back up and cross reference for my tree. So please family search correct this error on your part. Pj

As, we DO NOT have a 'Tree' in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...
We ONLY have "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...
Question: Have you checked (ie. selected) "View My Relationship" feature on John GILLIES [ KWJD-KKV ]?
IF, you have not; THEN, give it a go ... you may be surprised ...
Let us know, if that "View My Relationship" feature DOES NOT show that you are related to him.

FamilySearch's communal Family Tree is open-edit. FS does not employ anyone to edit it. The only way things get fixed is if users like you or me log in and fix them.
If you believe that the relationships of John Gillies are incorrect, then you should correct them.

Thank you for the Life Sketch of one of my ancestors, Anna Maria Denig l817-1881, wife of Johann Adam Stuckert. However, on the map there is a line, No. 4, birth of a sibling, leading to a location where there is NO village called Schneckenhausen and none of my ancestors has ever lived in this area.
Schneckenhausen is located in the district Kaiserslautern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, Postcode 67699 and belongs now to the Verbandsgemeinde Otterbach-Otterberg, Rheinland-Pfalz. Please correct it if possible. Thanks again for all the good work. Kind regards
