How is a person born in Taylorsville, Utah, listed as an immigrant pioneer?
A man born in Taylorsville, Utah, the son of an English born father and a Scottish born mother, is listed as an immigrant ancestor. Why is he listed as being an immigrant relative?
I don't like this new way of adding feedback or asking questions. I found it very hard to find out what category that I was supposed to use. It's so very confusing. The previous way was a bit more direct. If you like the new system, enjoy it.

Hello @Linda F. Petersen.
Would you please provide the name and ID number of the ancestor you are referring to? That way we can look at his record in Family Tree.
Where do you see the ancestor "listed" as an immigrant?
We look forward to hearing back from you with a few more details so we can investigate your concern.

We believe your question is related to the "Discover Your Relative's Voyage to America" campaign. This is brought to us in partnership with the BYU Library. If you click on Discover His Voyage, you will see the information about some kind of voyage -- which may well have occurred later in life, perhaps as your ancestor was travelling to a mission field.
