Should this be indexed
UK, England, Essex—Nonconformist Church Records, 1613–1971 [Part C]
https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/batch/ce1f6039-443e-4fc7-87b5-44ebaeddf2f9
Batch #: MSVP-9PX
The indexer has marked this batch as No Extractable Data. Granted, many of the records are unreadable and/or part of the pages are missing; however, there are readable entries that contain name of baptized child, parents names and dates. Am I correct in thinking whatever data can be ascertained should be indexed?

That would be my suggestion and mark the record fields as unreadable when needed.
That way at least some of the information would be made available and looking at the record it is not going to ever be restored or made available in any other way.
What a pity.
Thank you for your service.

Hello,
Yes, I absolutely agree. Index whatever can be made out - otherwise some of this information would never be known. Quite a bit is readable, so do your best with that. Good Luck!

Thank you Sharon and Hilary. This will be a challenging batch but I am ready to do it. Hopefully, somewhere down the road, a researcher will find their long lost ancestor here.

I'm sure they will Janet and you will be blessed for having done the work.
I am looking forward to seeing if it includes any of my family as I have a lot in the Non Conformist church records.
