How can I see a comment made about a document and the username of the person who made the comment?

I received an email today stating that I had received a comment on a document I posted for one of my ancestors. In the email was the FamilySearch username of the person who made the comment along with a link to the document and the comment the person made in quotes.

When I go to to the document in FamilySearch, I cannot see the comment nor can I see the name of the person who made the comment.

I contacted FamilySearch support, and they told me that I should be able to see both the comment and the person who made the comment when I click on the document. The person I spoke with brought up the document, and she could not see the comment either.

Can you help? Is this functionality temporarily broken?

I'd like to reach out to the person who made the comment, but I'm unable to because the comment does not show up.

    Hello, @BrentKelly.

Would you please provide the link to the document you are referring to? We can then see if we can replicate the problem.

In the meantime, did you clear temporary files and cache, and reset FamilySearch cookies? Even trying a different browser might help.

If the person helping you from FamilySearch Support - could not see the comment - then I doubt than anyone else will.

can you forward the email that you received to djyancey1965@gmail.com and I will see if I can see it.

also - you don't by chance have multiple familysearch accounts do you that are linked to that same email address?

Its also possible (but very rare) that the comments could have been deleted after they were posted.

clearing temporary files, cache and cookies has nothing to do with this . . .
