Problem viewing uploaded documents

I find it very difficult to view a previously uploaded document, as the detail panel on the right always stays on top. So when enlarging the document for better viewing, it is impossible to see the right part of the document.

Am I doing something wrong or is this something that should be improved from your side?

Besides that, many thanks for this wonderful tool.

    are you making use of the left and bottom scroll bars - so that you can scroll right or down - so as to be able to see parts of the document that you cant see initially??

    it is true that sometimes (especially with smaller displays) FS doesnt take the best advantage of the space on the screen - I wish there was a way that you could force the system to view the document in FULL screen mode - where ONLY the document would be on the screen and nothing else and would use the entire real estate of the screen.

    anyone know if that is possible?

    Are you in the Memories Gallery? Have you tried dragging your image to the left to uncover the hidden portion? There is also a + and - to make the document larger or smaller. Using this could help shrink it to the size you need.

    If you can provide a screenshot so I can see the issue, I may be able to help you further.

    @Dennis J Yancey, @PascaleClevy

    If you click on the actual document or image in the gallery, then look to the top left hand side of the image, you will see what looks like square brackets if you click there then it makes the image full screen.

    Have uploaded an example, hope you can view it :-) I have marked it with a red arrow.

    Hope it works for you :-)

    Thanks for your answer. My question was strictly related to documents, not images. The document viewer allows zooming, but then only the upper-left portion is visible and it is not possible to drag the image around to view its hidden parts (right and/or lower).

    I have since had the solution given by another member, that is : use the scroll bars! I had overlooked them as I was expecting to be able to use the mouse to drag the picture (this is possible only when viewing pictures).

    Thank you all for your help

    good point Pascale about the difference between images and documents

    we really should have an option for viewing a PDF - using the entire screen (without the need for scroll bars)

    @Dennis,

    Sorry Dennis, Yes PDF is an issue. I guess you've thought of saving as an image? Or perhaps you would rather not and does not solve the issue.

    I just want the system to work in a way that is optimal and efficient.

    downloading the pdf to a jpg is an option for one perosn - but surely not the way to solve the issue from the system perspective - which is where the vast majority of my comments in the community are focused on - improving the system as a whole - not just giving some person a "work around" - though that can be handy at times too.
