Discovery Page Correction Problem

The LIfe Summary on this Discovery Page https://ancestors.familysearch.org/LYLP-PQQ/david-o'killea-1637-1697 contains unsubstantiated information regarding the birthplace and parentage of David O'killea. Removing that information from the Detail Person Page does not correct the problem because invariably another well-intentioned user finds the info on the Discovery Page before that page is updated and re-enters it on the Detail Page, ensuring that the Life Summary is never corrected. Is there a solution?

Looking at the profiles I have to say the problem you are reporting is the tip of an iceberg. David O'killea has 6 sources attached but none is a FS source. Without FS sources, which cross-reference other person pages, this page will draw bogus links to unrelated families.

This is a very common situation with American immigrants.

What sources should be there? Compare his page and his son Benjamin's page, or compare to an earlier pioneer L2VM-FFH John Clough. Bottom line is there should be many FS sources. There being none suggests the page is a synthesis. In the case of an immigrant in British Colonial America, such synthesis may have appeared in print generations ago in an otherwise reputable family genealogy.

How I fix these problems is, to start, I consult historical records on FS.
