US, Wisconsin—Pre-1907 Death Records, 1860–1907 [M3HT-H4C]
Second entry on this batch. Deceased is listed as "Mrs. Marietta Miller" but sex is listed as male. Husband's name is male. looks to me like it was an error made 120 years ago. I should still index as male though, correct?
Also, the batch is asking for counties, but it isn't clear that the Wisconsin location is a city/town/ or county. Am I correct in leaving blank?
Thanks!

On projects that give both a given name and relationship, you can interpret the Sex field using the combination of information. For example, if the given name is "Rebecca" and the relationship is "Wife," but the sex was written as "male," you can type F in the Sex field.

As for the death location, yes, per the Field Help you would leave that blank if you are not sure the location was a county.
(As I've done these records, I have rarely found that they recorded the county.)
