When indexing probate information, are we recording only the one who has passed?

I see other names of relatives listed clearly and since I am new to this I want to be clear and accurate. If we are only concerned with the name of the deceased, then a 6+ pg document should be fairly straight forward. But if' we're to document names of relatives the we can read for others' information.... You see - I just want to do this right. Thank you.

@sgunn27026 thank you so much for your desire to index and index correctly! Your help is very much needed. When inquiring about how to index a batch or questions in this forum, it is helpful to also share your batch so others can look at the batch you are concerned about and more easily help answer your questions. Below is an article which explains how to share your batch. Again, thank you.

It depends on the project. You should find that information in the Project Instructions.
